Our Habitats program is an independent volunteering position. We have volunteer shifts available twice a day (morning or evening) to care for the cats (cleaning, feeding, socializing, etc.) while they are at the Habitats waiting for their new home! This volunteer shift can be as short as 30-minutes, but many volunteers choose to spend an hour or more playing with the cats, and even talking to potential adopters.
We have 10 Petco locations available for this role:
- Olathe
- 75th & Metcalf
- Independence
- Liberty
- Grandview
- 136th & Stateline
- Belton
- Blue Springs
- Barry Road
- Vivion Road
The first step to becoming a volunteer is to complete Volunteer Orientation! Visit our website at www.flexiquiz.com/SC/N/CatHabitatOrientation to begin the onboarding process by reading information about our program, and watching the online orientation! After the video, you’ll complete a quick quiz, and then complete your Volunteer Profile! Once we receive your profile, you’ll be sent additional information on completing your training for the Habitats.
