In alignment with our Jesuit Universal Apostolic Preference to Care for our Common Home, we’re organizing a group to attend a rally outside the Kansas City Area Economic Development Council’s Annual Meeting in Downtown KC. This gathering of local leaders will address the future of our economy—and it’s the perfect moment to demand a clean, healthy future for our community.
Our focus? Holding Evergy accountable for its failure to transition away from harmful fossil fuels, which impacts our health, electricity costs, and overall well-being. Clean energy should prioritize KC residents, not just profits!
