Sign up to be matched with a KCPS student at one of KCPS' 32 participating school sites. Mentors meet with their mentee at least 2-3 times per month for 30 minutes.
Our Mentors promote feelings of positivity and personal investment for their mentee in their school and education. Mentors provide encouragement, friendship, and guidance; they celebrate students' strengths and accomplishments, and give their mentee a feeling of connection to their community.
All Mentors must complete a one-time, 90 minute training. Once training is complete, volunteers submit their application and complete a background and reference check (no cost to volunteer).
Once application steps are complete, mentor will be matched with a mentee at their preferred school site!
