Community LINC provides transitional housing to homeless families at 40th and Troost.
Community LINC's Children's Program seeks to break the cycles of homelessness and poverty in the children we house. With lessons around kindergarten readiness, critical thinking, reading + math, and more, we always need extra assistance to make the program successful!
Community LINC is seeking volunteers in its Children's Program! Children's Program volunteers work with program staff to help facilitate lessons, prep/serve meals, provide one-on-one attention to the kids, and provide general supervision. It's a great way to serve kids in need, and alot of fun too!
Location : Community LINC (4016 Troost Avenue)
Time: Every Tuesday/Thursday from 5:30-7:30
Requirements: Goal of attending one evening/month at least. Previous childcare experience preferred but not required.
