Camp Encourage
Who We Are
The mission of Camp Encourage is to provide youth on the autism spectrum meaningful experiences in which they build the knowledge, courage, and skills to be empowered participants in the community. Our camps take place at Heartland Center in Parkville, MO & Tall Oaks Camp in Linnwood KS. Each camp session includes both traditional camp activities and activities tailored around the individual campers’ interests.
What We Do
Camp Encourage provides overnight and summer camping experiences for youth on the Autism Spectrum, aged 10-18, in Kansas and Missouri.
We also organize free family events throughout the year in various locations, featuring activities like swimming, roller skating, and tie-dye.
Our staff offers training sessions to school districts and businesses in the area on autism, inclusion, and behavioral supports.
