Pawsperity is the nation’s only nonprofit grooming school, offering free, state-certified job training in dog grooming to individuals from traumatic backgrounds like homelessness, domestic violence, and addiction. We provide a 790-hour curriculum accompanied by 92 hours of power skills (parenting, emotion regulation, budgeting, etc.), helping students gain the skills to break the cycle of poverty. Our graduates earn an average starting salary of $47,000, with many going on to own their businesses. With 100% employment within 60 days for 2024 graduates, Pawsperity is changing lives by equipping students with the tools for long-term success.
