Westport Showers

Westport Showers is a group that offers hospitality to homeless folks in the heart of Westport. Guests are able to get a hot meal, clean clothes and shower every Sunday morning. There are also brown bag lunches offered for folks to drop-in and pick up throughout the week. We have also recently opened up Thursday evenings for women, trans and gender non-conforming individuals only. We function out of Westport Presbyterian Church but hope to be an ecumenical work with volunteers from all over the metro joining in to serve. This work started a few years ago as a small project to help a few people in the neighborhood. Since then, the endeavor has grown continually and the need for more resources, including volunteers and donations, has become clear.

We offer showers and a hot meal to homeless folks in the heart of Westport. Join us to help with serving food, assisting in the clothing closet and cleaning showers. Front-facing volunteers must be of low health risk, vaccinated for COVID 19 and at least high school age.
