The LIGHT House has been helping families in the Kansas City Metro area since 1985. We have a full service adoption agency who works with birth families and waiting adoptive families. We also have a Maternity Home which houses mothers ages 12-21 who are pregnant or parenting a child under age 3. Our community outreach provides a variety of education and support. These services include: Parenting Outreach on Tuesday evenings for parents of children under 3. Parenting Education for court mandated or voluntary clients for parents of children all ages. Perinatal Support Group: Coming soon! School & Community Education: Tech Savvy parenting classes Parent & child technology classes Responsible digital citizenship Sexual risk avoidance classes
