The Whole Person
The Whole Person envisions a fully accessible community where opportunities and choices are not limited by disability. The Whole Person provides services to people with disabilities and their families and strives to help them identify and implement resources appropriate to their situation.
The Whole Person connects people with disabilities to the resources they need by supporting independent choice and advocating for positive change in the community.
The term "center for independent living" means a consumer‑controlled, community‑based, cross‑disability, nonresidential private nonprofit agency that is designed and operated within a local community by individuals with disabilities and provides an array of independent living services.
