Heartland Conservation Alliance will be leading a group of volunteers in removing invasive bush honeysuckle at The Heartland Overlook Preserve. HCA will provide gloves, tools, sunscreen and bug spray. Training will also be provided at the beginning of the workday.
The Heartland Overlook Preserve (aka the HOP) is located at 9106 Chestnut Avenue, Kansas City, MO. Parking is available on the property, please pull in past the gate and park along the side.
Please dress in long pants and wear close-toed shoes are required to maintain safety, and bring water. Sign-in will begin at 8:30am.
Volunteers under 18 years old will need to have a parent or guardian sign and return the attached the document before the event.
In order to maintain a COVID-safe event, we request that you wear a mask if you are not vaccinated. If you are experiencing Covid symptoms or feel sick, please stay home.
