Go forth and serve alongside the annual Finucane Service Day on Saturday, August 24 from 8:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Orientation teams will be going out to various nonprofit and community organizations throughout the city. You will be assigned to a team based on the need (capacity of the project).
Check in by 8:45 a.m. at Arrupe Hall at the volunteer sign-in table to get your service day assignment and team and t-shirt. You will be given directions.
9:00 a.m. Sit with your orientation group during the Core Value Reflection and Finucane Kick-Off.
9:30 a.m. Transportation is provided. Buses load up promptly at 9:30 a.m. or groups walk to nearby sites and participate in service.
Wear closed-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Most activities are outdoors.
Noon - All volunteers are expected to participate in the reflection exercise at the end of the service activity with your group.
12:30 - back to campus!
