Plant trees on campus and in the surrounding neighborhood to commemorate National Arbor Day. Our participation in this annual event is required for universities that have achieved Tree Campus USA status...an honor that Rockhurst has held for year. Items to note:
- Meet in the RockRoom at 2:30pm. Plan to work until 5.
- BYO water bottle.
- Wear grubby clothes and boots or rugged/close-toed shoes.
- Gloves will be provided.
- Pictures will be taken - please do not wear apparel that bears the name of universities other than Rockhurst.
- Previous tree-planting experience is NOT required.
