Only 23% of third-graders in KC public and charter schools are reading at grade level! Address this crisis head-on by volunteering to sort books for Lead to Read KC, KC's preeminent children's literacy program. Once sorted, the books will be used by reading mentors in one-on-one reading sessions with the kids.
Arrive at Arrupe Circle at 1:30pm on Friday, January 16th. Plan to return to campus by 4:30pm.
