Heartland Conservation Alliance is thrilled to partner with BikeWalkKC for our inaugural E-Bike the Blue event. This unique collaboration blends sustainable transportation with local conservation, inviting you to experience the Blue River Parkway in a new way!
If you’ve been curious about how electric bikes can transform your commute or your weekend adventures, this is your chance to get in the saddle. Whether you are a seasoned cyclist or haven't ridden in years, come try out an e-bike! RSVP here!
What to Expect:
- Guided Trial Sessions: Join our guides for 30-minute introductory rides designed to give you a taste of what an e-bike feels like.
- Paved trail: We will be hosting our inaugural trial rides on the paved Blue River Parkway trail extension, and additionally exploring the new extension!
Event Details:
- Registration: To ensure everyone gets a turn, please register for a specific time slot and arrive promptly for your scheduled ride. Because bikes are reserved in advance, we can only guarantee availability during your selected window.
- Arrival: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time slot.
- Safety First: Helmets are required for all riders.
- Gear: BikeWalkKC will have helmets available to borrow, but we highly recommend bringing your own for the best fit and maximum comfort!
- Age requirement: Must be over the age of 18 to participate!
