Finucane Service Project- a Rockhurst Tradition
Aug 27, 2020 by Julia VargasWe start with service because it is a vital part of our mission to "engage with the complexities of our world and serve others as compassionate, thoughtful leaders." We leaned into our core value of Reflection and Discernment to determine the way forward: a Finucane Service Project minus the project. In the end, students were asked to consider their talents, skills, interests and ways in which they can utilize them to serve our community. This format allowed us to achieve our goals and demonstrate care and compassion for our students and neighbors.
