Global FC

As a small but powerful non profit organization, Global FC has created a way for first generation immigrant and refugee youth to experience competitive league soccer as part of Heartland Association. We also offer various education and mentoring programming in the Historic Northeast neighborhoods of Kansas City, MO. Activities include academic assistance, mentorship, civic engagement, education forums, cultural exchange, special events/field trips, and family support initiatives. 

Vision: Global FC (Futbol Community) exists to bridge diverse cultures to come together, forming just communities where all are free to be fully known and fully loved in pursuit of their God-given purpose and potential. 

Mission: Global FC uses soccer as a vehicle for transformative impact, supporting under-served youth and families with the tools to overcome obstacles to success by providing resources, opportunities, and relationships towards a brighter future. We accomplish this through our three areas of programming: Soccer, Education and Mentoring.

Soccer: transportation, soccer coaching, soccer uniforms, and more for ages 8-18.

Mentoring: Soccer Team Mentoring, Service projects/volunteer hours, Group mentoring, one-on-one mentorship, & career mentoring opportunities 

Education: English language learning, tutoring, homework help, and next steps for high school students to be prepared for the world of work.
